Honest

For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility. (Ephesians 2:14 ESV)

You are my bread,
to fill a mouth, hungry
groans insistent,
but a beggar remains
patient amongst
reoccurring glasses overflowing
frothy animosity & plates displays our
wronging.

Between bites are unconfessed apologizes I’ll never quite digest;

I’m afraid of closeness said to outlast time.
