Fall In Me

What can I say,

here I rest under

the soiled sheets

screaming: sinsinsin!

You are pulling them back,

exposing the nakedness

I swore I hid, whispering

my eardrum’s longing.

I love you, still.

Come now, give

your hand.

  1. Powerful writing. Oh, how sin can be like soiled sheets and how we can fool ourselves thinking we can hide it. Our Redeemer rescues us with His extended hand! Are we willing to give Him ours?? I’m your neighbor at FMF. Blessings to you today and through your weekend!

    • Thank you so much. The loveliest thing I’ve been learning about Jesus is His extended never leaves, even when you think it has. 🙂 His patience is overwhelming when you think He should leave. Nice to meet you, Julie. Blessing to you as well. ❤
