If I told You, God,
the reason I want
gifts is because I feel
disconnected, will You
shame me? Because when
some one who genuinely gives
me a gift, I push back. I tremble
You don’t do shame. I know this. You
know the root that when I feel
disconnected from
someone or unheard or invisible, I crave
attention somehow and what better way
than a gift. But You also know
I am a quality time girl and a gift will
leave me empty if my heart feels turned
away. Hold me now. H

A wonderful, honest, raw and heartfelt talk with God. Love this in poetry form. Sarah, your FMF Neighbor #47
Thank you, Sarah. ☺️
STUNNING!
Thank you, Misty. ☺️
Your poem reminds me that God convicts but never shames, and knows our true needs. Visiting from FMF.
I constantly need the reminder that God is not one who shames and that He knows me and my needs.
This one pierced me. I feel it. I know it. May you sense the arms of Christ tightly around you today.
Thank you, Marie for understanding. ☺️ and for the prayer.
