May I recommend reading some Psalms, and let it speak to you. It will help with learning flow. Also, poetry, for me, comes when I listen to the world around me and observing. Try finding a quiet place and just letting your inside speak. Really soft music helps too.

Two questions…
1. Do you do spoken word videos too? Or some sort of videos for your poetry?
2. Your blog name, where does it come from? Mephibosheth?
Two answers:
1. As of right now, i have a soundcloud: http://m.soundcloud.com/j-sparrows/tracks. I’m nervous about making a video of myself. I wouldn’t know where what poem to start with. Do you think I should?
2. My blog name comes from a song by John Mark McMillian, called Carbon Ribs. But, yes, Mephiboshesh is exactly how I react to Jesus’ love for me with Cerebral Palsy, too.
